• We are a family owned and operated blacksmith shop in Lake Tahoe. We handcraft custom metal work.

• Hans Standteiner opened a small blacksmith shop on the banks of the Truckee River in the late 1960's.
• His sons, Anton 'Toni' and Hansi, have since taken over the business and built a state of the art workshop of their own construction and design.
• We use age-old techniques from the Standteiner's native Austria and seasoned machinery exclusive to our shop.
• We make everything by hand, including many of the tools we need to craft our unique client designs.
• Every product we create is an original design crafted as high quality functional art that will never be duplicated.
